Our AquaPerl filter media is a new, lightweight filter media for swimming pools, engineered to use in diatomaceous earth (D.E.) filters. It is a direct replacement for D.E. filter media.

Directions for use
 
Step 1
Clean the filter Clean the filter thoroughly per the manufacturers recommendations and normal maintenance procedures
 
Step 2
Determine the proper amount of AquaPerl to use Use in the same manner as D.E. filter media. Use the same volume as D.E., scoop for scoop
 
Step 3
Precoat the filter. Add the appropriate amount of AquaPerl to the pool filter using a mixture of AquaPerl and water
Mix half the required amount of AquaPerl thoroughly in a pail of water.  Pour this mixture into the skimmer with the circulation system running.  Repeat the process once more using the remaining amount of AquaPerl and water
